Cashpoint - No Point

I try not to take a negative stance when it comes to apps that I come across, especially ones where I have earned a decent amount of giftcards but sadly Cashpoint app has become so difficult to earn points that I had to delete it.

Sometimes you have to know when something is no longer worth the time and effort, I can see the app shutting down in the near future as others have been leaving it as well. Someday I might revisit it if they make changes that are friendly for the user.

October 2016 Passive Earnings

I felt sluggish in October dealing with the flu but I'm still happy to have least made something towards various goals I have before the year ends.

Grand total - $207.87

Typically I try to maintain or surpass the previous month but I'm content with my passive earnings for October. Keep in mind I do have a full time gig that takes priority over other ventures I do in my spare time.

With the holidays rapidly approaching I'm hoping to snag a few giftcards on survey sites and misc point sites that I use.

September 2016 Passive Earnings

I know that it is well into October now but after battling the flu for over two weeks I finally am trying to get caught up in general with every aspect of my life (both offline and online.)

Below are my stats from this past September:

Grand total - $296.77

Like I said last month this is part time for me and I know others make much more and others that make much less. Since I've been dealing with low to zero energy on some days due to being sick my earnings aren't anywhere near where I would like. Though I was able to get my car inspected with some of my earnings, which helped me to balance paying reoccurring bills so I didn't get behind for the most part.

Here's to hoping the rest of 2016 will continue to grow with opportunities galore :)

instaGC Holiday Bonus 2016 Program

This will be my first year on instaGC but I have heard from others that use it that they always look forward to the holiday program they run. The program kicks off from October 1st and runs through the end of December.

Right off the bat as a user you get a free 1% bonus for being active on the site. There are other categories to earn based upon number of completed tasks and how many points said tasks were. For example on mine (that I just started today when it launched) I have some tasks done that fall under the 1-4 points tier with the goal of completing 500 of those types of tasks to reach the next level.

It says you can apply the bonus points as you like but I might let mine build up just a bit before doing so. I changed up my goal recently for a $25 Walmart giftcard since I'm trying out their shippingpass program. Though once it gets closer to the holidays I will be gearing up for Amazon ones.

Hopefully this little holiday perk will help to reach goals :)

August 2016 Passive Income Earnings

I knew that this month would be better than the last, the summers seem to hit a low but July was by far the worst I've seen in quite some time.

Below is the breakdown for August, though the month isn't over just yet I do not intend to cash out any pending earnings I may have til September (either because on sites I haven't reached a threshold yet to cash out or I do not have any pending earnings at this point in time.)

Like I said last month this is part time for me and I know others make much more and others that make much less. I am hoping to keep up the momentum for the fall as I will have extra expenses coming up such as heating oil (though its soo hot this month I don't want to think about it), car inspection, tires for car, taxes and more taxes :)

InstaGC

instaGC is a site I discovered this summer from a friend of mine that's been using it for a long time. It is pretty user friendly interface with various tasks to complete for giftcards.

I have been mainly using it to save up for Amazon giftcards (which got depleted thanks in part to Prime Day) but my new goal is to save up for a Dunkin Donuts giftcards. I use Dunkin Donuts app which allows to add additional giftcards other than the main card. Will I get my coffee fix by end of August? We shall see :)

Though I have some pending points from July so I have a jump start towards my goal. One thing I think about this site is that you can customize goals to specific amounts in general to exact amounts for giftcards for your favorite store. Another aspect that I utilize is that you can change your goal if you want to lower it to get a card faster or to change let's say from Dunkin Donuts to Amazon or any other store.

July 2016 Passive Income Earnings

When I initially thought about making a blog to share and track my passive income earnings I started with this month because so far it has been my lowest for a summer month. Usually it picks up for me more so in the fall/winter months because getting cash/giftcards for the holidays is a big motivational tool to keep going :)

In the next few months I might explore fancy charts/graphs but for now here is the breakdown for the month of July:

I will continue to track my passive income in August and am planning on making posts about what sites/apps I've been using. Down the road if interest builds I may breakdown my totals more but for now it's easier to track if I keep it broad.

So it begins

I kept telling myself I need to keep better track of my passive sources of income so I thought why not make a little blog to share with everyone what I do each month. I wanted to start with the new year but better late than never!

I plan to share sites I use, apps (primarily for iPhone since that is my current phone), and other stuff and thangs I come across online.
